The eve of Teacher's day.

Ah yes, the eve of teacher's day. The day where we celebrate the bunch of people who impart knowledge unto us by boring the crap out of them with sub-par performances which is more or less meant for the students more then the teachers themselves.

Of course, I did not attend school, despite the fact that there's lessons today. The main reason is that I thought that I would be unable to waltz out of the school gates by 10:20, only being released at 12:30, by which the teachers would have at Orchard enjoying wine and what-ever.

However, seeing 2 or 3 Pale Green uniform in Coral told me that I was wrong.

Oh well. No harm done, I hope.

In any case, heading back to Coral was definately fun. Seeing al the old classmates, the old teachers and whatever. Coral got a new principal which has an air which I do not exactly like. Hell, she wore a blouse with rose all over i.

What a lack of taste in clothing....

XD

Tracy and that Chinese Teacher got an upgrade, which was nice, as they both deserved it. For some unknown reason, the HoDs of English (Sharon, and now Tracy) seem to a desk which is super messy, having plenty of papers everywhere.

I wonder why.

Seeing old classmates was also a high point for going to Coral. Everyone is struggling for their As (for those in JC), but hey, who isn't? For those in poly, it isn't exactly a world of uber slacking, as they still have plenty of projects and whatever. Still, everyone managed to stay in great spirits when we met each other.

And of course, seeing her was a super bonus. I went to school early, as I needed to Reacquire some of the stuff which I had lent to Lin Pin.

Sadly, the school will only let us in at around 10. So I went with the girls to study in Mcdonalds, shamelessly abandoning the option of heading to Chao's house to slack.

Gomen, but this is a super rare opportunity which will not happen again. =P

However, I soon learnt that I pretty much can't study worth nuts.

Reason: She's sitting right beside me.

My mind keeps drifting off, until I decided to use my MP3 player to force myself to concentrate.

But of course, as usual. WHen you try hard to cut yourself off from the surroundings, it just comes back.

Twice as hard.

I have no idea what shampoo she uses, but that damned scent keeps drifting over.

Not that I mind....

However, an hour and a half (or so) later, the good stuff had to end, as time moved towards Ten O Clock, the time which we are allowed into the restricted area.

I enjoyed every moment till then.

Back in school, the dudes are doing fine. The comp labs got an upgrade (TPJC is a college, and we still use Pentimum 3 comps in our library).

However, seeing Angela was not unexpected, but when I saw her, the moment was rather Awkward. A quick exchange of hi and bye, and she breezed off.

It's good to see that she's still looking as lively and as cheerful as ever.

The day ended with heading out to Cineleisure to play BF2 with Ron and Sean, since we decided against staying for the concert, as the one the year before was an absolute Disaster. BF2 was pretty interesting, since we all can't fly a copter worth nuts. However, pretty fun all around, with us messing around in the planes.

All in all, a good day.

^_^

Why the hell am I recounting the events today anyway? >_>

Oh well.

17 hours and 29 minutes!

*sings*

Stupid surveys...

All graduating classes are forced to do some kind of crap survey which you give feedback on "the quality of your school"

Or something like that.

My responses towards Friends was pretty positive, teachers got decent ones, while the school...

Let's just say I have plenty of "strongly disagree" in there.

I mean, c'mon. The school encourages creativity?

Bullshit!

When was the last time which my creative juices were called to use in school? Hell, I don't even use them in GP, since I don't get to write fiction compos.

Oh well. I am not the only one who gave a pretty poor grade for our school. Quite a few of the peeps gave roughly the same score for the "school" parts.

Hell, some of the guys actually finished it within 5 minutes, which was when I was at around three quarters of the survey.

And I'm considered "fast". =D

But seriously, this is our true feelings (they asked that we answer truthfully, and so we did) towards the college.

It just shows how lovely my college is.

XD

Song of (whatever) switched to Renewed Strength and Justice by Toshihiko Sahashi, from Gundam Seed Destiny 3rd Soundtrack. The last one was those slow and loving ones. This one is the faster one, with a little more "feel" towards the military side.

My college is always special.

So, with MJC and TJC enjoying one extra week off, our college forces us to head to school.

Not that I really care, since the physics paper was totally ****ed up.

But still, I would prefer consultation hours, since I don't have to wake up at 6:30 every single damn day.

Oh well.

I love my school.
--

More and more people are getting sick these days.

Fengzhi being one of the latest victims.

Get well soon! ^^'

But really, the stress is incredible. I don't break down so easily, but I am quite close at times, especially during that ****ing physics paper.

Get more rest. You'll need them.

*sings* Study break......

A lack of constant exercise....

After weeks of inactivity thanks to obtaining a Silver in Napfa, I've headed back to the gym again.

Things looked bad from the very first step out of the house. Merely a minute of my warm up jog, I was feeling the first signs of breathlessness.

In the gym, 15 minutes of running almost killed me. I can barely lift 40 KGs and just did 30 sit ups.

LoL.

Lack of practise...=D

Would a guy hit a girl?

Hmm...

This was one of the more interesting questions on UT forums which caught my eye.

The result? Guys, in general, would not hit a girl, unless they are playing. If they are, instead, hit for no reason, swearing is the preferred form of retalitation. In fact, the only time when a guy would hit a girl is when the girl continues to hit the guy for no reason, or when it's life threatening.

Even then, members admitted that guys won't hit as hard as they would against other humans of the same gender as they are.

In the Falcon's Code book, it's clearly stated (Article 3C, paragraph 3) that we must not hit on (the other form is alright. XD) females. It's not whether they are weaker or whatever, but it's just...well, the code. It just does not seem right for a guy to hit a girl, whether the book says so or not. In fact, I forgot when was the last time I hit a girl, if I even did before, seriously.

However, with the world heading towards equality of the sexes, won't it be strange that it's alright for girls to hit guys, but if it's vice versa, the guy will be placed into a bad light?

Interesting, isn't it? However, if, say, a girl goes to play Lan, an activity viewed usually as a "guys" activity, there won't be such bad light.

Interesting indeed.

This is probably why if a guy is to fight against a girl, he would most likely lose. The reason is simply because of the "gentleman" side of the guy, who feels a need to go easy on the girl at times.

This is something I don't understand.

Yeah, sure, go easy on her at times. However, when it's a competition or something, why is there even a need to go easy on her? Trash her, get the point, next better team please. When the time calls for a need to give why, do it generously without regret. Ladies first. Open the doors. Blah blah blah. That, I'll do. Let a girl go in something important? No. This isn't about losing face for losing to a girl or something. I need that thing, and she needs it too. I need to be selfish, or else, I won't get what I want.

Survival.

That, is much more important then being a gentleman.

Why?

There's no better way to end the week...

Then by getting out of school early thanks to the GP tutor being on course.

=D

And to also avoid the boredom of staying in school for an extra 40 minutes....

One more reason why I loved August: Gundam Seed Destiny OST III is finally out! It's just excellent, as expected of any GS/GSD OSTs.

Hence, Song of (whatever) changed to Kira ~ Love Theme, by Toshihiko Sahashi, from GSD OST III.

Beautiful track.

Zzz

Gah.

What a day.

But I just realised, dancing was actually fun. I actually found myself enjoying the first song which everyone is supposed to dance for Aces Day.

But maybe that was because I'm messing around.

However, I just can't seem to have the same type of "feeling" towards the second song, Reach Out For The Skies.

Maybe because it's a instrumental...

Or maybe, it just sucks.

I'll be frank, the whole song, instrumental one, sounded like a cheap remix of something done on a electric piano, with drums all at the wrong time.

Oh well.

I'm not complaining.

I'm not even going to appear on wednesday anyway. =D

WTF, another banner?

Yes! Another one!

I think I'll stick with this one, since it describes my mood best these days. Character used this time is the famous Asa-Senpai, whom I've fallen madly in love with. I just can't help myself, her character in Shuffle! is just adorable, and after the 7th episode, I knew I had to delicate my next banner to her. I didn't exactly like the last one, since Shitori looked rather wierd. Almost ghostly, the way she stares at you.

One possible reason why I like Asa is probably because I find her character a lot in like mine, almost Parallel in some case. For example, both of us have two sides, one which we show to the world, and one which few know about. (Yes, I do have a soft side. XD), and probably a few more things as well (except for her cooking talent. I can't cook Instant worth nuts)

This banner took me longer then usual (WTF was I doing anyway....LoL, should have studied...) as I was working on the image as well, instead of just pasting a load of text on the picture. This one has a frame, a checkered background and some abstract art hidden behind the main picture.

Hehe.

TPJC National Day Rally, day 2.

After yesterday's national day rally by our principal, our HoD of English had his planned motivational speech with us.

And you thought your week was bad.

Well, unfortuntately, the speech did not start with yesterday's amusement, where our beloved principal was blocking the projector, and hence, nothing appeared on screen. The seconds where she demanded help (pleaded? XD!), when a look down at her beer belly would allow her to know the truth, was amusing to watch.

However, there was quite a huge difference in the way the speech the principal gave yesterday and Reynold's did his today.

Her speech was the usual "Yeah yeah, **** you too" type of speech, but his speech was a more powerful speech, addressing the main problems of our batch (Attitute), and how we can improve our grades.

Another thing is that Rey-man did not single out classes, although your class did appear in those "bottom-board" lists, he did not specifically give them a blasting, letting the powerpiont slides do the talking.

A pretty good speech (I must admit that) by Rey-man.

However, of course, it isn't perfect. It's the WITS standard type of speech, but his opening could be improved dramatically.

For one, his opening was...horrible. I can't describe it, but it's just..horrible. His jokes, although lame, did diffuse the situation, but the last joke sounded totally stupid, no one actually laughed.

All in all, pretty decent rallys.

However, do they work?

Perhaps, for a week or two, when their screams will still be echoing in that hollow skull of ours. After the bloodlust dies, everyone will be back to normal, slacking away.

I guess, it pretty much comes down to the individual, isn't it? You can have a rally and a screaming session every half a day, but it simply won't work if the person isn't going to do anything. These kind of speeches are supposed to encourage people to do their work. While today's speech did serve its purpose, the individual himself should be working, and use this little encouragements and screamings as boosters, and not work because someone shouted at him. If the person is of the latter case, he simply can't be bothered to do anything in the first place. He's like a dead ball, needing a push to move. If you don't push it, it won't move.

Since we all are not balls, we should be working. Yet, I've wasted an hour working on a banner. Why? Simply because I enjoy it. People get superly stressed up because they have no time management. They mess around the entire day, before starting work at 11pm. That isn't the way to go, since at 11, your eyes will be half shut. And so, you go to sleep, waking up the next morning, knowing you've done nothing.

No wonder these people are stressed.

Time management is the key these days. Balancing work and play is a fine art, although I must admit my scales are quite heavily tipped towards the latter side. However, when it comes to work, get down to it.

Simple as that.

Girls like bad boy in the sense that he is really bad and rude to others... While he treats you so so so good that make u think that you are top of the world... I think this is how most girls feel... Em... In short, we love good guys more but we also like to have the special attention and treatment that others will never recieve except than us, that's when the bad boy come into the story....

Ah yes, TPJC forums.

Remind me not to go there any more. He level of stupidity there is rather high. People like her are those who make me lose faith in the future of humanity, and also as to why, there isn't many (keyword: Many. Not all. =P) decent girls in TPJC. I ain't looking for cutness/chio-ness or whatever. It's the character I look out for.

This girl is obviously thrown into the dumps in my opinion... The post speaks for itself.

TPJC's National Day Rally

As the world knew before everyone went to school today, our lovely principal was going to talk about motivation during assembly today.

And so, everyone went to school today, prepared for the worst.

Including me.

However, initially, I thought that she got it in the right direction, all the motivation, telling us to work harder, and the stuff.

Then, came the bombs.

Compared to the last batch's A level results (keyword: A level. LoL), we are utterly screwed. Heck, there's no need to compare it to the last batch's A level results. There are barely any subjects with over 50% passes.

Speaks a lot of itself.

However, it could be worse. Words such as "You guys totally SUCK! Your seniors >>>>>>> YOU!!!" could have appeared.

All in all, the usual stuff, could be bad, but it isn't too bad.

The one tomorrow should be more interesting.

Time to press the panic button, in any case.
--

Some things never get old for people...

Things like, spreading rumors.

Ah well, so, looking in a girls' direction because I'm totally bored (Anyone who knows me a bit will know that I HATE waiting for anything) will naturally mean I like the girl. Walking with, and talking to, the same girl, will also mean that I like her.

Get a grip.

Xin Lan is a friend of mine, and I see her as an elder sister that I'll never have.

However, I think I don't really care about such things anymore. Such things have ceased to interest me a long long time ago. Spread the rumors for all I care. It used to be fun back in Secondary school, being the receiver and also the one to spread the fires. However, it got boring after a while.

I guess it's still not boring for some.

Oh well.

And since Xin Lan asked me to get a girl soon to get rid of this situation...

Hmm...

As Asa-Senpai said in Shuffle! episode 7, "I just want things to remain this way for a while longer."

"Still, I seem to be unable to take my eyes off a certain someone."

=)

Who's that someone? =D

However, just stay low, and stay cool. I mean, I don't know about the rest, but to me, Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me. I have yet to let a statement get under my skin.

Yet.

Damn, I seriously don't like typing things like this. The last time I did this, it's really really screwed up. I'm still feeling the aftershocks of the nuclear blast.

Oh well. Hopefully, it won't be that bad this time.

Hopefully.

Song of (whatever) changed to Full Speed, by Toshihiko Sahashi, from Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid OST. A brillent OST with songs on either spectrum. There are quite a few very nice ones, but there's one or two which are dismissal.

Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid is probably one of the best animes I've watched in a while. After watching the first episode, it got pretty high on my ladder, and after the second it's on my "Maximum Priority list", to whic it shares a seat with Gundam Seed Destiny.

Currently, I'm watching, by order of favourites:

Maximum Priority:
I will download the first group that releases it, before keeping one from the slower groups when they release later. The reason is that, they are just damn good. All downloads will be slowed to get the latest episodes quickly.

-Gundam Seed Destiny (HaroTori. Prefer their font)
-Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid (AOne-AKingdom. Always liked their stuff)

High Priority:
Animes which I download when a decent group subs them. Will keep episodes, but they can be deleted if the episodes are boring, or if I need disc space. They are decent series, a little special, but not exactly fantastic. Will be downloaded first on top of normal animes.

-Shuffle!
-Bleach
-Gun X Sword
-Pani Poni Dash

Normal Priority:
Animes which arn't too special, but are decent enough to watch. Will only keep special episodes. The rest will find the recycled bin sooner or later.

-D.C.S.S
-Detective Conan, even though it's my favourite Anime, I can't keep all 400 episodes.

Low:
Animes which are boring, or has lost my interest. I am watching them just for the sake of seeing the end of the storyline. Watch and delete. Enough said.

-Aquarion

Not exactly a lot, but definately more then last year. LoL.

Recycled spoons for Ice-Cream?

Sunday Times never fail to amuse me. In the forum, there's this reader who is totally disgusted because te ice cream shop recycles used spoons.

Admitedly, he has a point. Not every single bacteria in the world can be killed with some disinfectants. So, his point of "infectous diseases can be transmitted via used spoons do have a point".

However, the chance is so low, common disinfectants will kill most, if not all, of the bacteria.
http://www.infectioncontroltoday.com/articles/1c1clean.html

As we can see from the above link, it's obvious that if one dunks the spoon into disinfectants, all will be fine.

Also, if such practise is used, as seen in the Ice Cream shop in Parkway Parade, which also recycles the spoons, won't the F&D guys step in to close the shop? They have been doing it for quite a while already, and I don't see them being forced to close down or something. Heck, their ice cream is still just as good.

However, why do shops need to recycle spoons? To save costs, duh. If you want the ice cream to be priced at $1.20 (or something, I forgot), the company will have to save costs, somehow. Recycling spoons is quite a good way to save costs, from my point of view. Not only do you save the environment, you cut down on expenses.

Of course, this is dependant on whether they wash the spoons.

All we need to counter this situation is to simply give the place more checks, make sure they are washing the spoons, and I'm fine with it.

Unless you are overly paranoid that there is some super duper bacteria in your spoon, you can always use another ice-cream stall....

Don't let your F.E.A.R. consume you.

I was messing around GameFAQs when I saw a rather neat summary of a preview at the bottom of the page.

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/fear/preview_6130811.html

So, being a huge fan of horror games ever since Silent Hill 3 touched my lips, I decided to give the preview a look. The fact that it's named "Best of E3 (Yearly gaming convention)" merely enhanced my interest.

And man, was it interesting.

For those who are too lazy to read it, it's basically on some dudes who want to set up a clone army, controlled by a psychic commander. Like all other games of this genre, something goes wrong, in this case, the commander is driven insane by a little girl. So, you, being part of F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault Recon....>_>), will be called in to clean up the trash.

Of course, everyone dies within 5 minutes, and you are left all alone. However, you have this cool Neo type ability which you can use to slow time, allowing you to move faster then anyone around you.

Sadly, that's all the preview says, but I'm not blaming them, since no one will buy the game if everything is leaked. However, as the Single Player Demo is released (Google it), I decided to play it to see whether it's worth the hype.

In some aspects, yes.

The enemy AI is really good, as said in the preview. I remember being flanked by two groups of enemies when I first played the game and nubishly walked right into a room full of enemies. Thankfully, there's only 4 of them. Any more, and I would probably be dead. The enemy also know when to hide, where to hide, and when to camp. If you camp for too long, hoping that they are like all the other nubs who will rush at you, you will be sorely mistaken. They will rush, yes, but they will do it carefully. Using the universal ability to peer around corners, standing still in one place isn't exactly a good idea, since grenades will come flying in your direction shortly. Killing one enemy by shooting him will result in another few coming around to check things out. However, if you killed him by smacking your gun against him (Every gun is also a melee weapon.), no one will know what happened instead. Yet, this is the beauty of this game, as the enemies almost act as though they are real players, reacting on sound.

The bullet-time, or the Neo-thingy is rather cool as well. However, as I can only play it on low, due to my Graphic card being an ass, I can barely see the path of the bullets. However, gamespot's video showed that you can actually see the path of the bullets, if you played on a high resolution. The trick is to use the time-slowing ability, then blast the head of your enemy. However, unlike other games where you are the only one with this ability, it seems like some of the enemies have this ability as well, and so, you need to really move fast if you want to get away from them.

The graphics themselves are excellent, using a totally new engine altogether. Even at low, the details are rather neat, as I could see people's faces rather clearly. On medium (my Frame rate dropped almost insanely), I could even see the bullet holes on the walls. Shoot hanging light, and it will swing wildly, casting rather interesting shadows all over the area.

The new engine itself allows you to interact with almost everything at hand. However, unlike some games where the interactable objects are totally for show (Counter-Strike:Source), the enemies get to use them as well. In one scene of the damo, you will see an enemy push a bookcase down to block your path, only to crawl under it to hit you from the back if you did not deal with him before continuing. Of course, he's absolutely easy to kill when he's crawling (One grenade, and he goes "Oh ****"). Of course, since the game is not released yet, I have no idea what else is installed. The environment could play a rather large part of your survival, such as the one in Half Life 2. However, again, this is only my Speculations.

Now that we are done with the good, now comes the bad.

The horror part of this game is just poor. Absolutely poor. Since I've had my fair share of horror games, I can only say that this game's horror element is almost on par with Doom 3, using rather poor cheap scares to scare you. For those who don't know what a cheap scare is, it's just like those guys popping out and shouting "BOO!" in front of you when you are enjoying a leisurely stroll down the corridor. Yes, so far, there are some areas where the atmosphere is used to scare you, but more often then not, it's those sudden ghost appearances which gives you the jitters. A pity really, because during the first 3 minutes, they used the environment to scare players (Blinking lights, dark hallways...). However, it soon descended down the path of cheap scares as they start to pop up right in your face. It's scary at first, but it won't be a second time. The feeling is just different.

I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with the horror part. Yes, it isn't a horror game, but if they want to inject horror into the game, F.E.A.R. should not have these kind of cheap scares. Look at Silent Hill 2 and 3, I don't remember any cheap scares, but they basically used the atmosphere to scare the crap out of your pants (Come over to my place if you want to try it ou. I think the CD I still hidden somewhere). The level details, the darkness, and the fact that you know that the monsters are out there, somewhere, really can be scary.

However, if you look past these poor attempts to scare you, it's actually a rather neat FPS. I might just buy it, on top of Quake 4.

However, I will definately look at the reviews first. If they don't give it a rather decent review, I might just obtain it.

Preview score: 7.5/10

Song of (whatever) switched to YOU by YURIA. A very catchy Opening theme for the anime, Shuffle!, which is a really nice romance anime, which was based on a Hentai-game. No, Shuffle! the anime isn't hentai, but the game was. However, so far, the 6 episodes I've watched are all really nice. In a nutshell, it's about this guy having to choose between 3 girls. The usual stuff, but the character developments are rather nice.

YOU
Lyrics: AlAi
Compose: Acchorike
Arrange: Masaki Suzuki
Vocal: YURIA

These words I hold for you within my heart,
I hold I can tell them to you someday.

Almost feverish as my heart beat faster,
I had no idea what that feeling was at first.
But once I realized it, I can no longer erase my feelings.
I can no longer lie to myself.

Even if meeting you was just a trite accident,
I can sense a special meaning to it.

I give my thanks to god everyday,
For letting me stay beside you.
I want to keep looking at you from your side,
Your profile is always without a trace of hesitation.

The time I spent alone with you,
Gives me unwavering strength.
Unknowingly these words for you came to my mind,
I hope I can tell them to you someday.

A slight touch of your warm fingers
And some words of kindness were all it took.
Almost like watching a dream's continuation,
These strange feelings form within me.

Even if we ever lose sight of each other one day,
We will surely meet again no matter what.

I pray that I'm in your precious memories.
I've never seen before the world you are from,
But I want to know more about it.

I want to grant you everything that you wish for,
And not a single bit less.
I trust you with my heart,
For you, I will change myself into anything.

--Like the colorful flowers,
A story is blooming far away.
The colors that will never disappear,
Ride on the wind and resound--

The time I spent alone with you,
Gives me the strength to support me.
These words filled with prayers for you,
I hope they reach deep into your heart.

How to tell yourself to study for prelims...

A bit of screenshot, a bit of editing with Asa, and we got a new desktop for my computer!
--

WARNING: Possiblily offensive to those who are extremely religious.

Da Vinci Code, the movie. The book itself is already interesting enough, but here comes the movie, due to be released next May.

Of course, if the church is going to hate the book, they are going to hate the movie with a passion.

So, the film dudes decide to give a donation.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lincolnshire/4155422.stm

And so, they get to film at Westminster Abbey.

Not that I'm implying anything...

I've read the book, but personally, I don't see what the big ho-ha is about. There are plenty of books out there which say the same thing, and Dan Brown simply tossed in a thriller (a rather decent one, compared to many these days), and whoa, he's got instant success.

However, the church is condamning the book, saying it's blasphemous, heretical...

Blah blah blah.

Ok, fine. I respect what the church says, because I respect what everyone says anyway, unless they are total morons. However, I felt that this book could not have come at a worst time. Gone were the days when people could be burnt for saying anything bad about god, or saying that you worship the devil. Those were the days when the church owned everyone, when wars were fought because "My god > yours" (Although it does continue today. People, in a way, never change, do they?).

These days, as we've all learnt in GP, religion is pretty much of a spiritual role. The main reason is because science is taking over. In the past, people blame Hurricanes and Earthquakes to be due to the wrath of god. Above the sky is the heavens, and below the ground, there's hell. Now, we know, thanks to science, that above us is the milky way, and below us is the core, followed by the other side of the world.

Religion is losing it's grip on people. A grip which had the authority to do anything in the past, but is now a simple mere weak cling-on.

Hence, this book, while it does not doubt the existance of a christian god, has, as people put it, "tarnished the image of Jesus". For him, having a wife and children is considered blasphemous.

I'm not going to talk about that point, since I have no concrete evidence, nor do I want to diss any christians off. However, I'm rather...amused, by people who refuse to read the book, nor will they see the movie, because it's "blasphemous".

All I've got to say is this: If your faith in god is shaken, possibily to a point that you won't believe in it anymore, after reading a mere book, it pretty much says alot about your faith, yes? If you believe that god is right, and your faith cannot be shaken so easily, what can a book do? There are plenty of books and movies out there which are worse, some even outright blasphemous (even for me). However, a book, which merely builds a neat story around a theory, should not be shaking your faith so easily, even more so, when there are facts to back it up.

If after reading the book, your faith in the religion is shaken, you need a new religion, because you just are just thinking you believe in the religion, but deep down inside, you know you are already questioning the foundations of the religion, thanks to science. Yeah yeah, the devil will plant those books to shake our faith in god. However, isn't that what you read the bible and stuff for? It's to guard you against such evil-ness, and to read the words of Kami-sama. So, unless you don't attend bible lessons, I don't really see what's wrong with reading the Da Vinci code. It isn't like listening to an MP3 that is super satanic.

So, what's wrong with women in the church anyway? The theory pretty much just says that women had a rather large role in the church before, and of course, the famous "Jesus had a wife and a child" thingy. The last pope, John Paul II said that women are priests is a definate no-no. No argument about it.

So...

>_<

I'm not chirstian, so I've no idea what goes on...>_<

Ah well, but really, those who go "I can't listen to this song (Atheist on the Highway from the Maximum Tune 2 OST, which is a mere wordless techno song), because it's anti-god/satanic" really made me laugh (One guy actually said that..XD). Even more so are those who don't watch movies, nor read the books which merely questions their faith, because, as I've said, it just shows that they have doubts in their faith, even without the movie/the book.

Holy...it's cold out here sir.

There are a few phrases you don't usually see the bird saying.

But this time, even the bird, master of the Ice and air (Primarily Wind) elements, have to admit.

"It's cold out here...>_<"

Damn the weather.

I pity those girls who were (probably) forced into helping out with the teaching of the Ace's Day dance.

Sure sure, it's fun at first, but after a while, it gets boring and rather stupid.

But hey, it's just for like 2 weeks, so maybe they did not exactly mind. After all, they are dancefest winners.

So, here I am, dancing to some hip-hop tune and "Reach out to the skies [Instrumental]" during PE. A waste of two perfectly good PE lessons which I could use for some work out, since I have yet to do anything on my own after obtaining that silver.

Imagine my horror, when I, and my class, was forced to do for 2 whole periods, practising for a song which we probably won't dance, since the majority of us is having second thought about appearing on the 31st of August.

At least this year, thankfully, was 2 rather nice songs, taught by the same teacher, but with 2 students helping her out (Both are dance fest winners. One was rather fat, but the other was a real eye-turner for most guys, me excluded though). Last year was just horrible, with the teacher trying to teach us line dancing.

Line dancing.......

>_>

Thank god I did no turn up on Teacher's Day eve. I might have just laughed my ass off.

However, kudos to the two girls. They were pretty much into the songs, and they do look like they enjoy dancing quite a bit (Reesha Valentine, anyone?) Doing something such as dancing in front of the school is one thing. Helping out to teach the masses is another.
--

Chaos, Ze Messile, you guys heading back to Coral on Teacher's Day Eve? How about skipping school on that day, head back to Coral at 10, lunch at Mac at 11-12 or something?
--

Well well well.

Seems like you finally got your act together, birdy.

Yeah. For now, at least.

The confusion was horrible, I presume?

Heh, you can't even imagine it anyway, what's the difference for you to know?

No difference, but it could be fun.

At least, you have made up your mind, for the last time, i hope.

I hope so too dude.

I hope so too.

I can't have that kind of pain and confusion once again. I might just not be able to take it once again.

I hope so too.

*Dee Deet Dee Deet...

"Stupid alarm clock", Falcon muttered, as he slammed the snooze button.

After spending 10 minutes in the washroom going through his daily "Good Morning world" routine, Falcon sneaked a peak at his daily planner.

"Bombardment by Reiny", it read.

Ooh, Falcon thought, one excellent way to waste two perfectly good periods of General Paper.

All one needs to do is to stare into space, do some b^2-4ac sums mentally (use huge numbers for kicks), and everything will be alright.

Hence, Falcon went out of his house and to school with an extra bounce in his step.

Two periods flew by pretty quickly, and before Falcon knew it, his watch read "9:00am".

The time for the motivational speech by Reiny.

As Falcon made his way from Lecture Theater 3 towards Lecture Theater 1, he could sense a sort of anticipation in everyone who had gathered. Falcon, himself, was tingling with excitment, hardly able to contain his joy at an absolute wasteage of two otherwise boring General Periods.

Before long, Falcon saw what he thought was the advance vanguard.

Two teachers, making their way towards the Lecture Theater.

Falcon's grin became bigger, as though he had just been offered chocolates by the girl he has taken a liking to.

Then, suddenly, the picture shattered.

The teachers walked in the direction of J block, not towards Lecute Theater 1.

"A joke, they are just heading somewhere else", Falcon muttered to himself, unable to allow himself to face reality.

Then, he saw his Civics Rep walking away. She was the one who informed the entire class about this event. She's heading to their usual classroom, to check if she had been wrong.

And so, Falcon decided to follow her (and her crowd), fearing the worst. As he moved ever so closer to the D block, Falcon knew, something was wrong.

When he reached the classroom, Falcon wanted to scream out with despair and anger.

He was right.

Something was wrong.

His normal General Paper tutor was calmly sitting there, waiting for the usual masses to enter the class to begin her lesson.

Falcon thought of all the time he had wasted in preparing for this nuke by Reiny. All the hidden microphones. The spycams. The Flash he more of less prepared. The Anime cuts he did, which involved quite a lot of blasting. His remixing equipment at home, warmed up, ready to remix Reiny's sweet voice.

All. Wasted.

His time. Wasted.

Falcon almost cried. Here he was, expecting to have some fun, and to waste two General Paper periods, and he got his hopes up all for nothing.

"Ah well." he said sadly.

The speech which is supposed to motivation students or something will be done next week, according to the tutor. It turned out that Reiny needed some sort of rest, after dropping nukes on two groups.

Falcon does not know why she needed to rest. After all, Falcon was sure he could blast the masses by the second.

It will be fun.

This only enhanced his ambition to become a teacher.

Falcon smiled, as thoughts of him being the principal of this miserable college flowed into him.

Until then, he just has to wait.

My Blog, what is it?

Yesterday, Xin Lan (LoL, I'm not blaming you or anything. Relax. XD) said that my blog destroys my image. (Or something to that extent)

Hmm, interesting.

It got my bird brain thinking.

I had always thought that my blog is something which I express myself, and hence, my blog is probably the best way to judge my character. I do not see how the way I type on my blog differs from my character in real life.

Perhaps, I was wrong?

My blog, is a place where I can rant my thoughts, usually on the mudane stuff which happened today, yesterday, or a few billion years ago, when Jesus was spotted riding a T-Rex. Yes, they are boring as hell to read, but I simply enjoy typing such nonsense. This is why I loved to do Reading Logs and stuff. However, with Reading Logs being not part of our GP these days, since it's pretty much a waste of time, I found my channel of thoughts "blocked", needing an outing.

And so, I turned to my blog.

It gave me the joy of voicing my thoughts on certain subjects, and also, a way which I have no need to waste my HD space, which is getting full anyway. This iw why you will see plenty of reading logs on my blogs, simple because I just love to talk about them.

Sure, I can talk about my daily life on my blog every single day. That, I'm sure, would definately be more interesting. Heck, I enjoy reading about other's life (At least, the interesting moments....not the normal stuff...>_>), when I visit the blogs (Which isn't many these days. 4 stops is my last check). It gives me an insight of their life at times, especially so when they were my ex-classmates, because I can at least see how they are doing, and read their interesting stuff without asking them.

However, I am the sort of guy who never liked people to know about my private life. My life, is mine. What it has to do with you, I have no idea. On top of that, if you have been following my blog (*gasp*), you will realise tha my recounts on my miserable life is rather poorly typed and structured. For some reason, I just cannot type about stuff which is regarding my life well. I don't know why, but I never liked doing it.

Besides, what is there to know about my life? What I want people to know, I will eventually let it out. How many of you are really ready to know about me, my dark and turbulent past?

How many of you think that you even know a fraction of who I really am?

The last time I counted, I think it's 2. Neither are in TPJC. (*waves* XD)

So, really, I can make my blog as interesting as it can be by talking about my daily life, my past, my future. However, that would have lost the meaning of my blog: A ranting site, and is something which I just do not enjoy doing. I seriously prefer hiding behind a cloak of deception, typing about the stuff which I totally enjoy typing. My fingers fly over the keyboard pretty fast when I'm typing about an article, but it seems to have some trouble moving when I'm talking about my life. Perhaps it's simply a matter that I have mental blocks when I'm typing that, or maybe , I have this kind of wierd thing in my head which prevents me from typing well when I'm on my life.

Either way, I don't like it.

Besides, there's no real need for me to please the crowd, is there? If you want to know about someone's life, there's always the 3 "famous" bloggers out there.

Consider me an elitist, but I never liked joining the crowd. =P

Perhaps that's why I didn't really like writing about my life as well. When I started this blog back in January, I have decided that I will not make this like some other common dump, talking about how my day was and such. I never liked those blogs anyway, as they fail to hold my attention.

It's the same for Piano. I refuse to play To Zanarkand, since everyone is playing it, prefering to play the Ending Teme instead. LoL.

So, yes, I don't see a need to switch my blog to please anyone. If you don't like my writing, leave. If you like it, you are more then welcome to stay.

Hence, don't expect anything about my life, other then some random words here and there. If you think you understand it, good. If you don't too bad.

Just don't ask what they mean. =D

Once again, Xin Lan Jie, I am not blaming you for anything. =D
--

Tomorrow looks interesting. Reiny (Reina? XD!), our beloved English head, is going to give us a scolding. He had 3 othe batches to practise on, so I think his scolding on us is going to be rather smooth.

Oh yeah, since my class is one of the top five underachievers, I think we can expect something extra.

Talk about a waste of time....>_>

Maybe I should bring a mike and do Podcast 2 or a Flash.

...

..

Hmm...

Chelsea 1 - 0 Wigan

Crespo scored on the 90th minute.

Talk about Champion's luck.

Sadly, Liverpool does not seem to have any, as Stevie Geedee could not score a single goal.

Too bad. If you were with Chelsea, Stevie, you would have scored those goals.

You just did not have the luck of Chelski. Bwahahahahahahahahahaha.

!Chance that Microsoft will screw up: 98%

Oh well. Windows suddenly decided to do a little roll back to almost a year ago. Other then the operating system which showed that almost every single program I installed this year is "new", nothing much seems to be affected.

Yet.

I will burn my computer if my 11.31GB of music goes to hell. And oh, 11.31GB isn't huge. I delete songs which I don't like to listen. OsisNie has around 8k songs, I think. I can't remember.

And people are wondering whether they should buy Xboxes, a microsoft product.

I don't think I will buy 360, since Microsoft has this knack of messing around. Protection for Win XP, protection for Live...

Which means that I cannot "obtain" my games at a much lower price. And since I'm not rich enough to fork out $60 for a single game, which I would probably toss away after 2 weeks, I think I will stick to Sony's PS3.

If only that Controller did not look so...

*shudders*

Go PC gaming, I guess. The ability to upgrade the PC as and when you like is always cool. Most games do not require some kind of super processor speed, so my 2100+XP should last me for a while more. The critical thing about PCs these days is the amount of RAM and Graphics Card. People, who are probably stuck in the 1990s, seem to think that a faster processer = better gaming PC. Sadly, not many games use that much processor power like Half Life 2. So, if you have the latest Dual Cores in your motherboard, but with only 64MB of RAM, you still arn't going anywhere.

Graphics is another huge issue now. Gone were the days when people go crazy everytime Intel or AMD produces a chip which produces more power. Now, Nvidia and Radeon are the kings of the market now, producing better, and faster Cards almost every week. However, unlike Handphones, that does not mean that you have to change your graphic card every other week (same goes for handphones too, in any case...). My 9800XT is running rather nicely, and I don't see myself upgrading it for another 5 years.

Technology....it evolves fast.

Almost...too fast.

Screwing around in a chess competiton...\o/

On sunday, I was suddenly recalled back into action after being officially retired. "We are lacking people", so says our beloved president. So, as a final act of love for the Chess Club, I signed up to mess around in the competition.

Things didn't go so well. The night before, I was doubtful that we can get the entire 5 team, since I had no idea who one of them was, and the other said flatly that he isn't going.

I was wrong.

We didn't even get the 4 core players, since Tan said that she's down with fever.

Oh well.

The morning started badly, even though I just want to go there, have some fun, get trashed and stuff. However, giving free points wasn't exactly on my mind, as the 4th player of every team got a lovely walkover.

Then, it got worse...

Mistake. After Mistake. After mistake. After mistake.

On games 1, 2, I was clearly winning. Game 4 was a little muddled, but I think I could have held a draw, if it was not for a mistake in moving the rook which allowed a back-rank. Game 3 was one which I defiantely lost, due to (yet again), stupid mistake which allowed my opponent to mate, when I could have delayed it longer.

So, annoyed at all my mistakes, I decided to simply mess around, and just have some fun at (possibily) my last tournament chess game.

Incredibily, I won.

I was pretty much talking cock with my opponent and his teammates. Heck, since the both of us were not in the championship running (We had 1 point after 4 rounds.....), we even offered a quick win for them, at the expense of $5 per person. Since they declined, we all just messed around.

My opponent was obviously tired, since he messed up his english opening. I can't remember what the heck he did, but it was rather funny after 3 moves or something. He kept forgetting to press the clock, and hence, I kept reminding him to press the clock ("I'll be your first and last opponent to tell you to press your clock."), instead of just sitting there and waiting for something to happen like I normally would have. Heck, I even told his team captain how to mate during a King Rook Vs King situation, just for the fun of it. XD

The result? A totally fustrated opponent. For some reason, I found myself up a pawn technically (2 pawns down, but 1 bishop up). He made a mistake and moved into a forced mate, which both of us realised only after I told him what I was about to do, since he was thinking whether to take my h1 pawn or not. Seriously speaking, that was thanks to pure luck, since I was just thinking to check him for fun, not realising that I had a mate in hand. Heck, I didn't even bother to record my moves.

It took me barely 2 minutes of my time, since I was playing Blitz style, using his time to think, to mate him.

Talk about going out with a bang. =D

Galaxynet, a dead net?

The other day, my brother was messing around, trying to find a mp3. So, I decided to mess around in Galaxynet, since I used that 5 years ago to obtain my songs.

To my surprise, the entire Galaxynet is almost dead.

#Coralsec is dead, #1987 is dead. Most, if not all, of those channels which I had access 5 years ago is gone.

So, what happened to the server which Singaporeans frequent in the past? #1987 had around 300 people at anytime which I joined in the past, #Coralsec was absolutely dead, with Q (Service admin bot) no where to be seen. On the main list, there are barely any channel which has over 100 users.

So, unless there's a secret channel with over 4000 users in it, Galaxynet is somewhat dead.

While I can not be sure, I can only guess the reason: It's illegal to allow others to download songs from you, i.e. Fserve.

With other services out there these days (Limewire, Morpheus, BitTorrent), it's no wonder that people have no need of servers. In fact, since it's against the law to even serve files, many has found it unnecessary to remain on a server which does not allow people to serve.

But then, what happened to those chatters?

Good question. I have no answer to that as well. Galaxynet used to be a place where people can get blowjobs, or sex, or whatever, IIRC, and from what's reported in the papers. I guess everyone has moved house. *shugs*

Or maybe the network decided to remove such nonsense by crushing them. However, the last time I've heard, the servers have no right to prevent what we say, unless we are spamming something.

Or maybe, there are other services out there, such as MSN. IRC was used to chat with people, plenty of people, in the past. However, as many would have noticed, those you chat with are either total morons, or people who you actually know. With advancements in technology, particularly MSN, where you can annoy the hell out of people who have no idea how to turn off the "nudge" option, you can safely chat with your friends, who are not retards and ask for sex after 20 minutes of chat. If you wish to meet new people, online isn't exactly the way to do it, especially via IRC. Heck, with so many games which enables players from all over the world to play against or with each other, you can easily meet new people online everyday. In fact, you don't need to go through the usual boredom of "Hi. A/s/l?" when trying to start a chat. Just go "Hey, ty for that save just now". Boom, you can probably have a new friend in minutes, with the help of friend list and stuff. In fact, when you join groups of people to powerplay others, such as joining a guild or something, you can easily make new friends daily, as long as someone joins daily. LoL.

IRC = a thing of the past.

Yet, perhaps, with Fservers around, you can get more people.

Just look at Rizon. It's a huge network with thousands of users at any one time. Heck, there are channels with around 4000 people in them. #Nipponsei, one of my favourite channels, has plenty of people chatting in it at any one time, basically a channel where people talk trash (And to obtain stuff).

So, Fserves could mean that people would be around a channel, since most servers demand that you stay in channel while downloading. So, while waiting, someone speaks something interesting, and whoa, you have a chat going.

Fserves = Chat?

Hmm...

I think it's time I am honest with myself.

Happy Birthday to Rachel! All the best for your A levels!

God, I'm such a failure. I forgot which was her unit number. Luckily, 125 has was empty at the time. =D

Oh well.

I just can't help grinning as I travelled back home. Thank god for the MP3 player, or I would be seen as a mad man, or worse, I would be giggling as well.

^_^

All in all, it's good.

Let's do a Ronald for fun!

Bwahahaha.

It's so nice seeing you once again. The moment my eyes were set upon your face, my heart, stopped. For someone to have that kind of seemingly Holy Aura is almost obscene. Yet, you have it. How I took my eyes away from you, I would never know. If I could, I would spend an Eternity just looking at your beautiful, sweet, smiling face.

Brr...

I think I will freeze soon....

National Day

Finally, probably the most important holiday on this island. The national day.

The day where everyone (at least, almost all) celebrate the day which Singapore obtained independence from Malaysia.

So, coming from a place where we celebrate our independence day (more like hand-over) by organising huge rallies on the street, Singapore does welcome an open change.

At least, we get to see all the stuff the army has, all the soldiers, Guard of Honour, and so on. The marching part, the fly pass...

They are all pretty neat.

However, as with every year, the concert was a total yawn.

It pretty much talks about how Singapore became independent, how it became the nation it is today. How that guy saw a lion and names Singapore "Singapura".

I wonder what would have happened if he saw a pig instead?

Babe-Pura? O_o

Never mind....

In any case, the concert went on, until this year's Theme song was played, sang by Rui En and Taufik.

And surprise surprise, I think I saw Taufik's mouth movements was around 2 seconds off from the song, around the time when the two of them were on the platform.

Make your own conclusions.

Perhaps, it's technology's fault.

Maybe it is.

Then again, I asked around in SGSB, and it seems like that isn't the only song which was lip synched. Uniquely Singapore was also lip synched, according to the board members.

Why do stars need to lip synch? If they have talent, can't they just sing? I mean, this person in question won a freaking star search, for god's sake! Why does he need to pretend to sing, when he can do so?

No wonder people are downloading more songs these days. Everyone wants to review the singers, before buying their music. It would totally suck if you have spent $20 buying a CD, only to find that the singer is rubbish.

And now, more and more singers are lip synching on stage. Probably because, as anyone who has gone to a concert will know, the song sounds different when sang live, compared to one sang in a studio.

If singers cannot afford to let the world hear their real voice, they should not be called singers. People who hide behind the mask of technology should never become stars, since they are nothing without technology.

I was rather disappointed with Taufik though.

Perhaps he will do it better next time.

Perhaps.

Chelsea 2 - 1 Arsenal

BWHAAHAHAHAHA.

WAHAHAHAHA.

AHAHAHAHA.

Sure sure, there's this, supposedly "curse" thingy, which the winners of the community shield will not win the league.

But hey, if Man U can do it, so can Chelsea.

--
I was at X-square (Near PS) on Sunday once again. It was rather early, and there isn't quite a lot of people around. However, what surprised were the number of girls having a stab at the Xbox. Many were there to simply follow their boyfriends, but there were quite a few who came in pairs to play the Xbox.

Surprised?

Nah. Just last year, I would have said that Gamer Girls are "rare breed", but now, I changed my stand.

The main reason is that more and more games are taking a "less violent" approach. For example, there are plenty of racing games on the Xbox, which everyone can play. Sure, girls can play Halo 2 pretty much beter then I do, but the few which I saw were mostly playing driving games, such as NFS:U 2 and Burnout (IIRC). The guys were just burning to Winning Eleven 8 and Fifa Street and the like.

A difference? Not much, but it does show that girls don't really like to play sporting games, as such games continue to be targetted at the guys. Who can blame the game designers? Few women I know can sit on the sofa and watch the full 90 minutes of football. Heck, those Tiger Beer commericals says it all. LoL

However, does that mean that girls are not sporty?

Nah. They just don't enjoy watching 22 men kicking a white thing called a ball around. It's just like how we guys (most of us, of course), don't appriciate the beauty of shopping for cosmestics.

The difference between genders...Just a simply X and Y chromosome, but the mentality is sometimes so great. Even in the arcades, it's there. I have yet to see a girl play Ghost Squad or Time Crisis 3 (Properly, and not dying on the first stage), but there are those who plays Maximum Tune 2 and, Beatmania.

Interesting, yeah? Perhaps games, especially driving ones and those which involve music, should include more...girl appeal next time? Quite a few has it (That drum game...), but many more lack it. If, the game designers, are able to tap into te girl industry, it might do just as well as selling cosmestics.

Friendster, what the heck is it now?

Previously, it's a tool for people to link up together, using the idea that the world is small, so that people can meet new friends.

Or, something of that sort.

Seriously, other then finding the addresses of people who could be your primary school friends online, Friendster, sad to say, isn't doing much now.

I mean, just look at the state it is at today. People are begging others to accept their invite, and begging even some more to write testimonials for them. Just look at the testimonials of some of those accounts, other then something silly and absolutely rubbish and horrible ASCII art, few has over 10 decent tesitmonals.

The friend-friend link thing is also somewhat used as a bragging too for quite a few people. For some reason, by comparing the number of "accepted friends" you have on your account, you can tell who's cooler and such. Never mind that probably half are rubbish, and imginary "friends", but more of a social circle. Groups like "Coke", "Nike", and so on. Sure, you got a bunch of friends who like to drink coke, but, do you even care about the people inside the "group"?

Doubt that.

Heck, people actually randomly accept people who request to be their friends. There are those who have no idea who are requesting to be their friends, but just accept anyway. Never mind that the service asks you to "Add him/her only if you know him/her". Also, there are those who have multiple accounts just because they maxed out the number of friends allowed (500, IIRC) in the list, and wears them like badges of honour. On top of that, people upload pictures of themselves, usually revealing quite a bit of skin. As a guy, I definately don't mind, but it does show how "useful" friendster is.

With friendster, you can also declare your hate towards someone. Just create either joke accounts (Edward Chew has one), or a "Hate account" (Anti-insert-name-here). Edit a few photos using Microsoft paint (gasp), and you are good to go.

So, once again, a rather useless service on the net, abused by those who have no idea how to use it. Heck, I never did see a purpose in Friendster in the first place.

I probably never will now, with all that crap going on. Heck, I forgot when was the last time I logged into my account (Yes, I do have an account. Surprised? I was the one surprised by those who found me, especially when I used my main e-mail, which is not widely known.)

It's coming...

11/8.....

Saturday, August 06, 2005

Hmm....

London has finally taken tougher steps against terrorism, with steps such as deporting them, holding them without trial longer, and such.

Finally.

What took them so long? Must countries be shaken by blasts, before they start doing something? With attacks such as 9/11 and those in South-East Asia (Bali, Indonesia...), one would have thought such measures were in place.

Heck, I thought they were in place a long time ago. I only found out that it isn't today.

National Security is an issue that should not be taken lightly. It concerns everyone, even the politicans (if everyone is dead, who's there to vote for you? LoL). We are talking about lifes of people here man, not some rag tag trash. Hence, I would have thought that such hard line measures have been in place a long time ago.

Of course, some would have said that it's against basic human rights to place such laws. I mean, everyone has their own freedom, and should not be detained without trial, and is allowed to go anywhere they wish.

However, what if it concerns the life of citizens themselves? Isn't that more important then humans rights of the terrorists? We should be taking out those who endanger us, rather then look out for those who endanger us. Of course, you can simply go about and say "What if that guy is innocent? Remember the shooting incident?". Yes, that case was unnecessary, and absolutely stupid. However, bar shooting and killing someone, it's better safe then be sorry. I mean, how long can a person be held without trial? 48 hours? 72 hours? If, by that time, the police can't find scrap, then the person is considered safe, right? I mean, he must have done something to make the police suspect that he's a terrorist.

So, no. Terrorists are people who should have their basic human rights voided. After all, they are killing others. It isn't as though they are killing soldiers or whatever (that is bad enough), but they are killing innocent people. People who just want to get on with their own life, people who might go on and have a great future. Thanks to these morons, their life is cut short, and people cry because of that.

Also, since we are on the subject, I've always wondered why the Terrorists kill themselves. Yes, sacrifice yourself to kill a hundred. However, people don't kill themselves for fun. Humans are selfish by nature, and they do something in order for themselves to gain something. While some believe that there are plenty of virgins to mess around with in heaven (Shows the level of intelligence right there. What's next? PS3 and XBox Revolution is up there too, with every single game?), there are those who believe that by killing themselves, they get to sit at God's dinner table.

Which leads me to this point: Does kami-sama want his children, basically us, to die? Doesn't he want us all to be, well, saved? Do some cool things on earth, then go back to his home land or something like that? Does the creator forsake his own children, giving permission to others to kill others? Unless God believes in the law of the jungle (Survival of the fittest), I doubt it. While I am not trying to preach, or trying to diss any religion here, I've always believed in god, but I do get annoyed by those "JOIN US NOW AND B SAVED!" posters. I mean, c'mon, will a parent forsake his child to doom? Sure sure, he tosses us into the pits of hell because we don't believe in him. However, isn't he still destroying his own creation? His own children?

Personally, I believe that there's a god, but I just don't know which one. She's basically scaring me with all the words such as "Thank god for Jesus, or I would not have been able to cope". I just wanted to shout "It's yourself! YOURSELF! YOU are surviving! Yes, god is there to help, but this is a product of what YOU'VE DONE!" Yes, religion can give us solace, but sometimes, people have this illusion that religion was there to save them, when it's just themselves who has survived so far. Yeah, sure, talking to god is much better. However, what about talking to a mirror instead? You are still talking, but what you think you are talking to isn't god, but a mirror instead.

So, our mentality is what differentiates one thing from another. However, since people are more comfortable with talking to god instead, I won't blame them. It's their choice, not mine. They can do things which they feel comfortable, and I'll do mine. Mine is trying to stand on my own two feet, and taking credit for it (Long live my level 67 ego).

However, the problem with using god as an excuse for your actions/survival is the main problem with terrorists here. They believe what they are doing is right, since they get rid of us infidels who do not believe in their god. I won't go into saying which god is the real deal, but that's just...stupid. I don't mind, things such as "God bless you" or things like that, but using god to defend your stupidity is another thing. Why do terrorists need to use god to defend their actions? Of course, there are those who go "We are killing ourselves because of the infidels in Iraq, defiling our holy land" or something like that. However, many more say use god to say what they are doing is right. If, what they are doing is right, then why do they need to defend it? If you do something that's right, then there's no need to defend it. Defending it only means that you have some guilt in your head. Deep down inside, you know it's wrong, but you still do it, since you are leaning on that defender of yours.

So, perhaps Terrorists know what they are doing is wrong?

If so, why do they still do it? Strip away their "excuse" at suiciding, and maybe they will, finally, realise that what they are doing, is wrong.

And oh, if she isn't the one I've taken liking to, I might have just screamed that at her. She's definately scaring me....>___<.

How to kiss *cough*

First off, don't slobber all over her, and don't stick your tongue down her throat. In fact, don't stick your tongue in her mouth at all. Make sure your nose doesn't bump up against hers when you're going in for the kiss, and very importantly: Make sure you are in a position of control. Giving the girl control is awesome, but not until you know her rhythms and how you can play off of her. This might be your problem in mentioning that you feel off-beat. A position of control would be something like... you are both standing and she is shorter than you, you are laying down and you are looking down at her, rather than her being on top of you or both of you being sideways, you are sitting and she is next to you, etc. Also, put a hand on the back of her head, interlace your fingers with her hair. On top of feeling nice to her, this gives you another connection point to read her body language and to give yourself some control.

Alright, now that we've established positioning, how bout the actual kiss. Like I said before, a kiss is not "Open wide, here's my toungue!" It's also not the lip-to-lip kindergarten kiss. At any given time, either her top or bottom lip will be between yours, and vice versa.

GO SLOWLY. Hover very very close to her lips for a split second before you go for it. Make her anticipate. Make her WANT it. Start off with fleeting pecks and searching grazes of her lips. Pay attention to your hands. Let her hands do what they please, but put a hand on the back of her head, with your fingers in her hair (Like I said), or on her back. Massage her lower back. Don't grapple at her jumblies. Squeeze her ass to let her know that you're there and you appreciate her being there.

Don't get impatient. Guage her rhythms, back off every once in a while and go down to her neck. If clothing allows, kiss or lightly lick her collar bone. Suck on her earlobe, and let your teeth graze her ear as you do it, exhale down her neck as you do these things. If you've already kissed there, then it will be moist, and the warm air hitting it will send chills down her spine (in a very good way). Nip at her neck with your teeth just a little. Once again, let her know that you're there, and into it.

When it comes to using tongue, let her be the first to venture that. Pay attention, anticipate it. Accept it. There's nothing more awkward than trying to introduce tongue and hitting... teeth. Let it be fleeting at first, and respond in kind. Don't eat her face, and don't shove your tongue into her mouth. Let it graze her lips. The introduction of tongue is one of the hardest parts to get down smoothly, because oftentimes one of the two of you won't really be expecting it, and the other one will back off too quickly. But, if you make out with one girl fairly regularly and pay attention, it will become very smooth and easy.

As for other extracirricular making-out activities, a few things will make it much better for her (and more fun for you). Pay attention to your hands, like I said. Don't go for the breasts like a horny teenager. Make her PUSH your hand to them. This has happened with almost every girl I've made out with more than once, and it's awesome (and kinda funny). Put your hands under her shirt on her back. Keep her pulled against you (if positioning allows). Don't be half-assed about your presence. Massage her back over or under her shirt. Squeeze her ass. Bite her lower lip gently and let it slide out from in between your teeth (painless but hot). If you are laying down, pin her arms above her head. Sounds "wierd" to some people, but it makes it much better, especially if you use that time to focus on her neck and ears for a while. It will drive her crazy and make her force herself up against you. Just make sure your positioning makes it possible to, and if your arms are long enough and your hands are big enough to pin both her wrists with one hand, you can use your other to run your fingernails lightly down her arms, down her side, to her ass/thigh and squeeze.

That's all for now, because I'm tired of typing and I'm getting myself all riled up thinking about it with such depth. Basically it all boils down to:

Be patient
Be forceful with your presence but not your tongue
Play off of her. Judge her rhythms and her horniness to guage what your next move is.

Hope it helps.

Loyality from players?

Ha! Bullshit!

Well, for those living in caves, Michael Owen is very likely to move from Real Madrid back to Premiership.

Destination? Manchester United! Long time rival of his former club, Liverpool.

Well, it isn't exactly his fault. Liverpool didn't want him back as well, since they have some decent strikers now. However, who was the one leaving Liverpool 2 years or so ago?

But really, are players actually loyal these days?

Just look at Rio. He got screwed around with that drug test, but has the balls to ask the club to pay him more on his new contract, even though he was fully paid even though he was suspended.

So, no. Very very few players are actually loyal to the club. Everyone is pretty materialistic, as they do think for their future. Sportsmen, do fall into this category, as they retire by 35, and become coaches for some rubbish club, earning a salary that is much lesser then what they had earned until they get to some rather decent club. Hence, they are asking for insane amounts of salaries before they "expire" and retire, because they, like everyone else, want to have a nice retirement. It's just not people like Rio, as there are many many more sportsmen who fling loyality out of the window in exchange for money. Robhino (Sp, that new Real Madrid striker from Brazil) is another one to name, and many players such as him sulk when they are not allowed to leave the club for a beter future. Remember Scott Parker and Louis Saha? Chelsea and Man U (respectively) came calling, and they are all but begging to join them, in a bid to win some fame.

Fame, in the sporting world is important. On top of that basic salary, many stars do commericals, which net them even more cash. Also, with fame, comes the chance to play for their country. Look at Scott Parker (once again). He goes Chelski, and he gets to play for England. Nuff said.

However, there are still stars who are loyal. Andrew Johnson, the guy who almost kept Crystal Palace in the Premiership, stayed with them, even though they are in the championship now. Usually, a person of his talent will change clubs almost immediately, as seen by some such as Paul Robinson (Formerly Leeds United, now still in championship). O'Neal, the basketball star which probably everyone know, has just signed a new deal with Miami Heat, even though he could be making 10 million less or something, just to help them get the NBA championship.

However, these are just a select few players who don't toss everything out of the window for money. Many more do, and it doesn't help that some clubs are egging them on or something. However, it isn't exactly fair for a player who has plenty of potential to sit at some bench, rotting away. They are right to think of their careers, and their future. However, they should also think about loyality towards clubs, especially former ones, unless they were thrown out or something. It is because these clubs were the ones who took care of them, nursed them, until they are ready for an even bigger stage.

Too bad Stevie G didn't exactly think too much of cash. He could be a Chelsea player right now, and Liverpool might be out of the Champion's League. XD.

Then again, Jose has said that they will never pay anyone more then 90k pounds a week (Frank Lampard's Salary), and Stevie is aiming for 100k.

Hmm.....

Loyality?

Hmm, interesting day.

The day started off with the principal scaring the crap out of everyone's pants by looking in our direction, before heading down her usual platform-towards-glory in our direction.

And then, she walked past us.

You could almost hear the sigh of relief from everyone in the area. =D

Also, this is the first, and hopefully, the last time I'm attending Au's extra Chem lecture. Went in, came out without learning anything. Should have sticked to Neo.

All in all, decent days.

Why do people like th mask their words, especially the phrase, "Oh My Gosh!"?

Seriously, I'm rather irked by people who say that phrase instead of the actual "Oh my god!" Yes yes, you should not use God's name in vain, but, isn't it worse when you try to mask it? The word is pretty much a evolved form of "Oh My God", so shouldn't people use that form instead? Trying to mask God's name with something else sounds not only stupid, but should be even worse as well, since you are intending the same meaning, but simply using different words. It's like saying "I'm trying to liberate her from her obsessive boyfriend" when you are clearly just being an ass trying to be a third party in a relationship. You know it's wrong, so you simply use other words so that you can make yourself feel better.

And that, annoys me greatly.

I prefer people who use the actual term, and actually knows it, instead of masking it. Maybe that's why I swear so much sometimes, since I prefer to use the actual words instead of "F-you!" or "this is rather F-ed up". Yes, it's much more rude to use the actual words, but I try my best to moderate my speech *cough*. Heck, you seldom see any swearing online anyway, which pretty much speaks for itself ^_^

*cough*

Site updates

I finally decided to do a new banner. This one is from DCSS, since the last one seems so saddening and stuff. LoL.

Oh well.

Anyway, since AMG is gone, I'm currently watching three new series, namely DCSS, Shuffle! and FMP:TCR. All three are pretty well done, especially Shuffle!, which I thought was a boring anime, but it turned out to be rather interesting. =D

Song of (whatever) changed to Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru, by SEE-SAW, from Gundam Seed Destiny's 4th Ending theme. Finally something nice after 3 rather poor Opening Themes and Ending themes.

Ooh, pressure?

Work's coming in hard and fast, thrusting it's pelvis in our faces.

Oh well.

Work work.

Up till now, I've pretty much refused to blog too much on the XiaXue case, other then laughing at her.

Until now.

"ME IS PISSED. ME IS ANGRY. ME IS VERY VERY VERY HOT NOW. Appartently, over the weee hours of this morning, some little xxxx decided that it would be FUN, COOOOOL AND MACHOOOO to hack into xiaxue's blog and GMail account. And he appartnetly succeeded. Also, news has confirmed Anna Wonkytong's was hacked too. Great, someone who doesn't know how to respect a lady." -- Digital Life

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Amusing, getting angry for someone else's blog. That's not the point, but the level of english used is just enough to make me go XD. Also, this guy here assumes simply that the hacker is a male. Erm, hello? Talk about not respecting ladies....

For me, I will always think that the blog was not "hacked".

Reasons:
-Who the blue hell frames up something which made you so angry? I won't, at least.
-All the posts restored? Does Blogspot keep archives?
-I don't really give a damn about reasoning.

Oh well. *shugs*

Online petitions, do they even work?

There are thousands, if not millions of petitions out there, ranging from interesting ones such as asking the governments to do something about the atrocies in Middle East, to kicking out a school teacher.

However, do they work?

People can simply brush them aside, because it's easy to chalk up petitions by simply voting many times, especially if you use a router, allowing your IP to hop around. In fact, you can simply get people to sign for things they don't really know and understand. Just put them on a forum, make a bombastic speech, and people will just sign. All it wastes is 5 seconds of their time, and there is probably no traces back to them. Most of the petitions are not something which changes how everyday life is, so people can feel guilt free to voting, instead of regretting their decision later in life.

The problem with petitions is that it spreads by word of mouth. So, all someone needs to do is to chain mail his friends (People actually read that?), toss it on his blog, and reap the results. Petition online will also mean that you don't need to do pretty much anything, as instead of walking in the hot streets in the afternoon seeking people's signature, you just have to click a button and all is done.

However, as said before, the main advantage of it being online will mean that you don't depend on the traffic flow on the streets you are hawking your wares. Word do get spread around quickly, especially if placed on a famous message board, with the poster typing properly and decently enough to persuade his fellow board mates (Above example is one way not to get support, at least in GFs).

Traditional method over new-age digital ones? Digital ones are definately more Convenient, but lacks credibility. Present a floppy, or a thumbdrive with a million signatures will probably get you laughed at, because it's so easy to fake votes (F.A.C.T. wanted people to put their I/C. Sure. S54231352P.). Present one signed in ink by ten thousand people, and you will probably get better results.

Pros and Cons.

OMFG, a PODCAST?

http://www.tpjcian.net/tung_yat_chun/oMFGPODCAST.wav

I finally did it.

A podcast.

A mike, anwd microsoft sound recorder...

OMFG.

*tosses myself down a building*

Anyway, what my views on podcasting/Vlog is in that 60 sec piece of crap. Note that it uses the word "shit" in it, although I said it rather funnily...

Oh well.

God, I can't face the world anymore.
